Digital Accessibility

The internet holds immense potential as an equalizer for many individuals, particularly those with disabilities. By ensuring proper technical accessibility of digital products, we can hopefully empower many individuals to live independently and make their own choices. It is our duty to leverage our abilities to provide this essential accessibility.

We welcome collaboration across various fields and perspectives to extend accessibility beyond mere technicalities. Our proficiency spans popular desktop screen readers such as JAWS and NVDA, as well as mobile ones including Voice Over and Talkback. Throughout our professional journeys, we have engaged directly with screen reader users, gaining valuable insights into their needs and preferences. This includes conducting live coding sessions to verify the effectiveness of our efforts. Additionally, we possess experience in navigating the Swiss certification process based on the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG).

What we can do for you

  • We accompany your UX design process to avoid the emergence of accessibility problems in the first place.
  • We provide coding work according to accessibility best practices and WCAG guidelines.
  • We conduct a sample-based accessibility audit of your website or specific features on your behalf. During this process, we manually test using previously agreed upon screen reader and browser combinations both on desktop and mobile platforms such as iOS (VoiceOver) and Android (TalkBack).
  • We consult your design system team.
  • We help you to establish the subject of digital accessibility within the organisation in a sustainable way.
